After completing a degree in music, I took the leap and went to graduate school for journalism to pursue my other creative passion, writing. I am honored to have the opportunity to tell compelling stories that help my audience learn about and engage with their world. I believe stories are part of what makes us human, and that they truly have the power to change hearts, minds, and the world.I worked for four years as a student journalist and have now worked for one year in positions at both a city newspaper and city magazine run through the University of Missouri. As a graduate student, I take on leadership roles within those publications and work to find enterprise stories. I am always seeking opportunities to improve my storytelling skills and look forward to a lifetime of listening and learning.
