I have completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and I wish to utilise the science and laboratory skills gained to pursue a career in science.Throughout my professional and university career, I have had the opportunity to implement many of my scientific skills gained throughout study.These skills include:- Collecting product samples and entering data in a quality assurance lab.- Implement safe handling of food practices across several settings including hospitality, manufacturing, and laboratory settings.- Use HACCP Principles and Food Standards Australia and New Zealand to develop a food product fit for consumers.Other skills which I have implemented in my professional and university career include:- Effectively able to work remotely and independently when a manager and/or supervisor is not in reach.- Thinking on my feet when AFL programs are altered last minute; this could include changing one aspect of one activity, or moving the entire program indoors and changing all activities.- Delivering tailored communication to a diverse group of people such as children from different cultural backgrounds, different levels of ability, different ages, and different socioeconomic backgrounds.- Further tailoring my communication with parents to inform them of program activities, and to answer any inquiries they may have.- Communicating with other team members to ensure programs and run efficiently.
