I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and have been working with families, couples, and individuals since 2007. I work with all age groups. While many therapists are only trained to work with one client in the room at a time, as an LMFT I have also been trained to work with multiple people whether it be a family, a couple, or other system. I have a special interest in working with people as they transition through different life phases; I particularly enjoy helping people to prepare for and embrace, moving to college, getting (re)married, and empty nesting. I am invested in helping people explore their life struggles, gain insight into their origin, and determine how to make them manageable.Another area of interest I have is helping people who manifest their stress physically. This can have a devastating impact on ones mental, emotional, and social life. I have specifically worked with clients suffering from IBS by helping them find their triggers while incorporating stress management and relaxation techniques. These same techniques can be helpful in managing other forms of stress.I have had training in Hypnotherapy and am offering it as a skill to my clients who inquire about it. I also inform clients of how hypnotherapy would be useful in certain circumstances. I have received training from international relationship expert, Harville Hendrix PhD, who is the co-creator of Imago Relationship Therapy and author of "Getting The Love You Want, a guide for couples". In my work I strive to challenge people along their journey of deep self exploration.Office Location: I am no longer accepting new clients in Carmel but I am accepting new clients at my Indy location in Nora.Accept Insurance / 3rd Party Payments: Private Pay only, but you may bill your insurance for out of network benefits.Fee Subsidies / Sliding Scale: A Fee Subsidy or Sliding Scale is offered on the basis of family annual income.
