A brief history: 30-year professional journey in TV broadcast sports and news, media and entrepreneurial initiatives. In 2020, founded Be Still Media, a non-profit foundation that encourages creatives with prize money incentive competitions and community-connection. *We champion artists* by giving space for original works that search the MIND and spark the IMAGINATION with IDEAS, inviting us to understand what we value and how that affects the way we live. As of October 2024 Be Still Media will have awarded more than $285k in prize money to artists from around the world, and twice gathered our global community of award winners: Creatives•Defining•Culture In 2021, JustJoy Pictures LLC was formed to produce "Be Still Media: STORY OF CREATIVES" - episode 1 from NYC; episode 2 in London. This show is purely "art at a human level." In 2012 I co-founded the academic center, Faith and Global Engagement at the University of Hong Kong, developing a world-class distinguished lecture series that included leaders in politics (Tony Blair/former UK Prime Minister); industry (John Brandon/Apple Inc VP Business); sports (Jeremy Lin/basketball player); religion (Timothy Keller/Redeemer Church USA)...Today FGE is integrated in the academic curriculum and mentoring program for 500+ HKU students.Dialing back further: Broadcast TV.
