As a co-founder and now co-owner of The Deoc Ensemble, I book, manage, and perform for weddings, receptions, and special events in the greater Indianapolis area. Since our founding in 2007, we have performed for hundreds of events in central Indiana, as well as in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, North Carolina, and Louisiana. All of our musicians have trained at the collegiate level and we pride ourselves on providing professional-grade music at reasonable prices, allowing people to have equal access to live music for any occasion. Our work has been featured on Borrowed and Blue and The Knot, and we collaborate with many central-Indiana venues, including The Indiana Roof Ballroom, The Eiteljorg Museum, INDUSTRY, The Neidhammer, The Indianapolis Zoo, many local churches, and more.

Speedway, Indiana is a growing and diverse community that loves coffee, but sadly there are a limited number of coffee experiences for locals. Our mission is to create a place of community and belonging that serves excellent coffee to millennial transplants and life-long residents of Speedway alike, while also striving to foster a welcoming environment for our town's minority population.

As a Summer School Instructor at Park Tudor School, I teach and assistant teach classes for students ages 3 - 12. Our classes are both fun academic and fun, with topics ranging from Reading and Math review, to the History of Legos and Cooking or Baking. Each class requires me to plan a course curriculum with the other teachers involved, collaborating to make our summer classes educational, fun, and enjoyable for all of our students.

As a Special Education teacher, I worked with students in grades Kindergarten-3rd grade with disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD, ADHD, Emotional Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, and Cognitive Disabilities. As a Resource Teacher, I was responsible for writing and implementing IEP’s (Individualized Education Programs) for my students, as well as managing a team of 3 assistants. I worked closely with general education teachers and administrators to provide productive and safe learning environments for the students we shared.
