I am one of the Female Officers working with NRL League for Life Program in Papua New Guinea taking the lead to promote Gender Equality in the Sport which was once Male Dominated. Since Rugby League is like a National Sport in my country, we go to schools teaching young students the basic skills of Rugby league and also teaching them the Importance of EDUCATION & RESPECT and promote Gender Equality by using myself as an example to encourage girls to play Rugby League since I used to play Rugby League and also coach boys & girls and was the Founder of Womens Rugby League in my home Province, Kokopo, East New Britain, Papua New Guinea. I just attended the NRL Australian Award Fellowship which has really helped me to pave the way for women in the Sport of Rugby League in my Country to have Leadership roles so they can contribute positively to their communities & country and also have Rugby League as a Family sport.
