I have mastered how to engage and support a diverse group of students in the learning process. This assignment allowed me to consider their needs when forming the lesson, ensuring that I am always doing frequent checks for understanding and maintaining equitability in my classroom.

I have mastered how to create and maintain and effective environment for student learning in creating a station rotation lesson. Working in stations allows for a variety of activities to occur! The stations include a variety of instructional strategies: individual reading, collaborative tasks with peers, visual information such as maps, etc.

I have mastered how to understand and organize subject matter for learning. Especially since California Social Science standards for Grades 10-11 are so dense, it is easier to break them into their sub-standards and create lessons using those sub-standards as learning objectives. Her Lawyer LLC is an independent network of experienced attorneys who provide legal advice and representation for women throughout the State of California• Independently research and write 5-7 articles (approximately 4,000 words) per week on a variety of legal topics (e.g. divorce, employment law, family law, personal injury) tailored to women in need of legal assistance and within the context of California law• Meet with the Legal Writing Supervisor weekly to discuss my articles, which are then published to the Legal Info reference page on the Her Lawyer LLC website
