Meeting and Events Planning Co-ordinator:- Handpicked to work alongside the Director of Planning as the Co-ordinator- Managing all high profile events in excess of £300,000 including BMW Awards, Janssen Company Conference, Graft Guild of Chefs Awards, Hospitality Action Awards and The Soldiering on Through Life Awards- Fulfilling all responsibilities of the Co-ordinator for the Director and the team- Entrusted by the Director to liaise with clients in his absence- Communicating the details of the event through Banqueting Event Orders to all stakeholders, including the hotel and liaising with all third party suppliers to ensure a successful delivery of the event- Sole point of contact for all internal bookings including high profile meetings for members from Head Office and the Executive Team- Responsible for all reporting and distribution of behalf of the Planning TeamMeeting and Events Sales Executive:- Actively selling 35 event spaces (largest capacity 2,000 people) to maximise the hotels profitability- Creation of event proposals, contracts, pro forma invoices, credit checks and pre-payments- Conducting site visits and familiarisation trips to actively promote the hotel and its facilities- Proactively chasing all current and future business opportunities- Understanding the forecast and revenue figures in order to implement sales targets and goals
