Grace Milne Email and Phone Number
Grace Milne is a Sub Warden @ University of Otago | Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor of Commerce ( Management & Economics) at Momona Hockey Club. Colleagues describe her as "Grace was an independent contractor selling buckets of Christmas Cookies for Cookie Time Limited during the seven weeks preceding Christmas 2021 and 2020. The role involved running a business: buying, selling and delivering buckets of cookies within a set sales territory in New Zealand. As an independent contractor, this opportunity operates on a margin only basis, involving a series of sales targets. Grace had a 19% increase in sales in her second campaign, reaching her 4th and final target while navigating COVID-19 restrictions. Grace was a valued member of our sales team in 2020 and 2021, and demonstrated many of the characteristics and skills we look for in our Christmas Cookies sellers. These include: • Confidence and enthusiasm; • Ability to cope with a stressful environment; • Ability to sell, cold-call and counter objections; • Delivery of high levels of customer service; • Excellent communication skills and a professional manner; • High level of organisation, ability to multi-task and prioritise work; • Self management, motivation; • Responsibility and ownership; • Business related reporting and documentation; • Banking, sales and stock reconciliation; • Honesty and reliability; • The ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual; • A positive attitude and a sense of humour. I would highly recommend Grace for future employment opportunities."

Kitchen PorterMillbrook Resort Jan 2022 - Feb 2022Arrowtown, Otago, NzI was fortunate enough to secure summer employment at the Millbrook Country Club as a Kitchen hand. My duties included cleaning and closing all four of the food and beverage outlets. As well as assisting with the preparation and plating of food for functions and evening service. I had to adapt quickly to the different styles of each outlet's head chef as well as the front of house staff. I would like to think I have demonstrated a strong ability to take direction from superiors with very different styles all under very high pressure situations. This is a context I imagine will be very similar for my career in the law. -
Christmas Cookie Seller - Independent ContractorCookie Time Group Oct 2021 - Dec 2021Christchurch, Canterbury, NzI have had the honour of being selected as a CookieTime Christmas Cookie Seller for two consecutive campaigns. Throughout the course of a campaign, your perseverance and determination is tested. I was able to develop my personal communication skills when addressing both customers and suppliers. I was also able to understand further the essential skills required when striving to run a profitable business and succeeded in exceeding my targets. I learned valuable stock management, cash management and planning skills and further honed my customer services skills in a time pressured context working for nine weeks without a day off. I have a passion for hard work. -

Filing AssistantCopeland Ashcroft Feb 2016 - Dec 2020New Zealand, -, NzI worked at Copeland Ashcroft afterschool and at University as a filing assistant. My duties often included photocopying, filing, and document scanning. As I began my tertiary studies, I had increased responsibilities and conducted file management and construction. I found this provided great insight about the day to day operations of a law firm and the attention to detail required. -
Checkout OperatorFour Square Arrowtown Nov 2019 - Jan 2020I worked full-time at the Arrowtown Four Square over three summer periods. My duties included stocking shelves, advising customers, and operating the checkout. I was able to develop my ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment. Many of my colleagues did not speak English as their first language which meant I often found myself helping them communicate clearly with customers and other team members.
