Abstract a minimum of 97% completeness of eligible cases per year. Knowledge and proficient use of all appropriate state and national abstracting guidelines. Ensure timely case submission guidelines. Contact with internal Health Information Medical Services department, the Arizona cancer Registry and external hospital Cancer Registries.Customer contact includes both inside/outside physician offices, pathology labs, and radiology centers and other hospital Oncology Data Specialist as needed.Conducted patient follow-up on former patients due for contact.
