In this role, I serve 350+ Indigenous students by creating an open and welcoming environment for them to fully engage in their education. I assist students by connecting them with resources at the college and by community building through initiatives including feasting and capacity building. I also represent the department at college and community events where I increase awareness and provide insight on Flemings Indigenous services. My focus in this role is to embrace Indigenous perspectives to empower students to make a difference in the greater community.
