I recently joined the team at Silicon Brighton, having moved here at the beginning of 2021. We're a community-led initiative supporting digital growth in the South East. Working hand-in-hand with the local tech community, we provide individuals with free opportunities for networking, training, up-skilling and development, helping people to take their careers and businesses forward. Having fallen instantly in love with the city it feels good to be giving something back, working for an amazing organisation that spotlights the region as the UK's tech hub.I spent three years before my current role as a Senior Consultant with a marketing executive search firm, tml Partners where I was responsible for building and nurturing candidate and community ecosystems whilst working with clients to define and deliver on their commercial goals aligned to talent acquisition and retention. Before tml, I was an Associate Director in the marketing and events team of one of the world's largest commercial real estate businesses, JLL. Heading up the Corporate Marketing team, I was responsible for developing and executing firm-wide, multi-channel campaigns - from our sponsorship of the CBI annual conference to our presence at MIPIM in Cannes.
