Training to become a qualified CBT therapist through the University of Exeter and Somerset Talking Therapies

BABCP RegisteredAfter completing my placement as a PWP with Somerset Talking Therapies, I accepted a full-time position within the service. Since May 2022 I have become the Student and Young Person Champion for the service. Within this role I have created a self-help guide which can be used by students and young people to help learn CBT techniques to help manage their current difficulties, particularly the transition from education and beyond. This guide can also be used by individuals with the support of a PWP.Completed LTC-LICBT additional training through University of Exeter during October-December 2022.Completed Supervisor Training - Low Intensity Focus through University of Exeter 2023.

Volunteering as a listener for the Nightline service at the University of Exeter. A confidential listening service run by students for students, operating from 8pm to 8am. Received training for the role as well as additional training throughout the years to help specific population groups.
