I am a graduate research assistant in the Bionic Engineering Lab at the University of Utah. I study the biomechanical effects of robotic assistive devices on clinical populations. My focus is using robotic knee-ankle prostheses to assist individuals with above-knee amputations. I love scientific writing, making beautiful figures, data analysis, signal processing, troubleshooting, problem solving, collaborating, and learning new equipment and software. My primary goal in graduate school has been to investigate the ability of robotic knee-ankle prostheses to improve the mobility of individuals with above-knee amputations. I am an expert at using motion capture and electromyography to evaluate human biomechanics, and I have worked in motion capture labs for over eight years.
