A recent graduate from UW-Madison with a BS in Materials Science and Engineering, I specialize in polymers, focusing on products, materials, and processes that push the boundaries of innovation. Currently, I work as a polymer chemist in the polyester and polyamides group at Syensqo, where my research centers on liquid crystal polymers. My hands-on experience as a manufacturing engineer, project analyst, and research assistant has sharpened my technical skills and fueled my passion for discovery. Leadership roles with the Society of Women Engineers and Badger Volunteers, combined with a deep interest in expanding my knowledge outside my field—particularly in cultural, environmental, and societal issues—have broadened my awareness of the responsibilities I hold. These experiences have deepened my commitment to contributing positively, both in my professional work and personal life, to help improve the quality of the world around us all.Outside of work I enjoy hobbies such as running, cooking, reading, and practicing yoga. In the next five years, I aim to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree, deepening my expertise and combining my diverse interests to contribute meaningfully to science and engineering.
