Grace Rotermund Email and Phone Number
Grace Rotermund is an incoming Master's student at the University of Chicago Divinity School following her graduation from Tufts University. As a degree holder that studied History of Art & Religion, as well as a double minor in French & Medieval Studies, she loves interdisciplinary academic work that questions previously upheld borders between areas of study.During her time at Tufts, she designed and taught the first course at the university on the ancient religion of Zoroastrianism to high praise from both involved faculty and her students. Grace also completed a research project on Geghard Monastery and possible connections to Zoroastrianism under the guidance of Dr. David Proctor. She made a promising start by participating in a research seminar with Dr. Christina Maranci of Harvard University during the spring of her first year that resulted in her findings used in a Tufts University Art Galleries exhibit the following fall. Grace was selected for and completed Tufts University's prestigious Summer Scholars program by conducting independent research over the 2022 summer and presented her research at the affiliated conference in August. Additionally, she worked on her French skills abroad in Paris during the fall of her third collegiate year. She particularly enjoys studying Armenian art and architecture in the early medieval period and looks forward to continuing an already robust education at the U of Chicago.

Within this position, I am responsible for the smooth running of the building I am in at that time, as well as bi-hourly patrols through said building to check for stocking issues and COVID-19 safety aspects.- In several buildings, while working I make sure mail and package deliveries are properly sorted and that the recipient is notified of their package for pickup. Some packages are temperature sensitive, which involves a careful mode of transportation to a specialty chilling room, and some packages are live shipments. - This position is completely self-scheduled, which means I am responsible for balancing it with my studies, other clubs, and my second job as a Starbucks Barista. -

Starbucks BaristaStarbucks Jan 2020 - May 2022Omaha, Nebraska, United States- I would go out on a limb and say Starbucks Barista multitasking skills are unmatched. I have successfully balanced both aspects of running a drive-through line out of the parking lot and retrieving spare drinks and food items as necessary, all while providing a top-tier level of customer service. - I have had several individuals call my Omaha area store's phone number after completing their transaction and compliment my manager on "the girl in the drive through's friendliness and competency." The customer service quality I aim for is nothing short of perfect. - I have an extensive knowledge of the coffee industry, roasts, drink recipes, and food pairings. - Additionally, I have transferred back and forth between an Omaha area store and a store in Massachusetts seamlessly, showing flexibility and professionalism in both cases. -
