I am currently the manager of an Oxfam Bookshop in the heart of Westminster. Through strong leadership, I empower a team of staff and volunteers to deliver high levels of excellent customer service while offering support, direction and inspiration when needed. I have a strong sense of teamwork, and ensure that everyone collaborates to deliver high levels of performance across the whole business. I am responsible for the financial management of the Oxfam shop and am proactive in the overall strategic direction and development of the business and its people. As a secondhand bookshop, we thrive on donations and the generosity of our customers, so good marketing and customer relations are vital. I ensure that my team is well trained on how to research, price and properly displays books in order to maximise profits.

I also made daily use of Microsoft Office packages.Additional responsibilities include ensuring the smooth-running of the shop by replenishing stock levels, money handling and keeping up to date on product training.
