I am a current undergraduate majoring in Atmospheric Sciences. In my future career, I hope to focus on citizen preparedness for hazardous weather and disaster management. So far, I have been involved in research projects on topics such as the Ionosphere, Tsunamis, particle tracking velocimetry, 3D Modeling, and 3D Projection Mapping. I have experience using Python, MATLAB, R, and Java. Some programs I have experience with are QGIS, Blender, Jupyter Notebook, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and MadMapper. In addition to my passion for science, math, and the weather, I am skilled in the arts and communications. This means that not only am I capable of completing scientific projects, but I am also able to present the information in an interactive and engaging format.

Created a 3D Visualization of the effects and path of the 1960 Chilean tsunami in Hilo Bay, Hawai'i for education and outreach.I worked in Jupyter Notebook and QGIS to create a geographically accurate 3D model of Hilo using LiDAR, SONAR, DEM, and contour line data. I created two models: a 3D-printed model and a demonstration-sized cardboard model, as shown. I then used scientific maps to animate the inundation and wave path of the tsunami in Blender and scaled and projected it onto the model using 3D projection mapping in MadMapper.
