CurrentMy research focuses on increasing the separation of lithium and magnesium ions from its original compound through the usage of various polymer membranes with experiments and coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations. By varying the backbone structure of the membranes, the separation of lithium and magnesium ions is tested to determine the best polymer membrane. With the necessity of lithium in battery technology, this research is useful in increasing the efficiency of lithium ions extraction.
