As Marketing Executive, my roles include: storyboarding and designing concepts for new editions of backlist titles, full management of social media channels and website, conducting market research, screening submissions, editing early manuscripts and designing and implementing tailored digital marketing campaigns for each publication.

During my year-long internship with Book Island, I took on a variety of roles. These included: creating copy for book covers (blurb, intro, author biog), screening potential European picture books to translate into English, contributing to the blog, creating content for social media, organising author tours and putting together marketing plans.

As a Junior Copywriter, my role includes creating new content for PPC landing pages, blogs and social media posts, to help increase brand awareness and sales by using the correct tone of voice through effective audience profiling, extensive company and industry research and regular client interaction. A placement undertaken where I contributed to copy for the Powys County Council website, included training in creating websites and where I liaised with local newspapers, providing them with information on the goings on in the county.
