By majoring in International Relations, I possess a keen understanding of global politics and economics, specialising in analysing relationships between political institutions, international organisations, and diverse entities. This area of study has encouraged me to undertake a career where I can address political, economic, and cultural challenges that can lead to vulnerabilities from extreme poverty, inequalities, poor health, and fragile governance. Furthermore, Behavioural Commerce equips me with unique understandings on decoding human and organisational behaviour within business environments. Monash has taught me to recognise and understand the decision-making process, commercial behaviour, and its profound impact on the economy, organisations, and the public sector.A dual focus on International Relations and Behavioural Commerce offers a distinct skill set. It enables me to navigate global complexities while excelling in deciphering consumer motivations and influencing market dynamics. The diverse skill sets from both areas of study complement each other to allow me to contribute strategically to organisations seeking a holistic perspective and encourages impactful decision-making and success.Currently, I am working in the hospitality industry at a cafe and an events venue. I have had 2 years of experience in this industry with previous jobs at an ice cream store and corporate suites at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Thus, I have developed exceptional skills in teamwork, communication, and communication, while solidifying a strong work ethic and interpersonal abilities. As I progress through my degree, I am seeking to use new skills and knowledge that I have learnt at University in an internship opportunity.
