CurrentCo-founded a poetry magazine with my academic peer, designed as a creative outlet for young and upcoming poets, after noticing a gap in the market. Recruited a team of editors, including myself, that review, collaborate, and decide which poems suit the narrative of the edition and should be published. Oversee and manage the team of editors, arranging meetings and ensuring that deadlines are met.Liaising with poets about edits, queries and events. Used WIX to design and produce the editions as seen on our website. Assumed the role of creative director, ensuring that the visual experience of our editions is engaging and consistent with our brand.Took on the responsibility of marketing, managing social media, using Canva to create a brand image and produce posts that acknowledge design trends and target young creatives. Organised and run poetry workshops and social events as part of a team.
