As a viewpoint columnist, I write articles bi-weekly for my column titled I.M.P.A.C.T (Intersectionality Makes Political Change Transpire). For each article, I conduct thorough research on current events and analyze them with an intersectional feminist lens.

As a research assistant for Professor Madhav Joshi, I am researching meetings among Taliban officials on Twitter (X) with a variety of international, domestic, and government actors. I organize this information in a spreadsheet and analyze it with coding tools to track the type and occurrence of these meetings. Additionally, I am working on copyediting Professor Joshi's academic articles before they are published and summarizing academic articles related to his research endeavors.

My research includes reviewing Gender Stipulations in the Peace Accord Matrix to curate an organized spreadsheet detailing code changes with each Gender Stipulation.

The Institute of World Politics is a graduate school in D.C. dedicated to teaching various instruments of statecraft including diplomacy, military strategy, opinion formation, public diplomacy, intelligence, counterintelligence, economic strategy, and the principles of leadership all of which can improve national security while reducing the potential of war. As a research intern, I am taking two graduate courses, "International Relations, Statecraft, and Integrated Strategy" and "Public Diplomacy and Strategic Influence." Additionally, I am working with Professor Sebastian Smeureanu on IWP's podcast and academic journal to produce an objective analysis of international affairs. Along with administrative support, our internship cohort attends various conferences, lectures, and tours of museums and government institutions in D.C.

As a summer intern for the She Creates Change project at Room to Read, I conducted thorough research, updated statistics, and organized research and other information in spreadsheets. Additionally, I edited the Room to Read website by fixing errors and re-designed the layout, and re-wrote the descriptions for the Gender Equality Program. To promote She Creates Change, I wrote an informative op-ed that discussed the issue of gender inequality and created social media prototypes about this issue to promote the project on multiple platforms. In addition to tracking advertising opportunities for She Creates Change, I tracked a variety of speaking opportunities for Room to Read to promote the positive work they are doing. Lastly, I maintained effective communication with my supervisor and directors regarding their expectations of me while exercising my time management skills when balancing a variety of projects.
