Being able to develop young leaders through sport while building relationships at the same time is something I am passionate about. Every practice is an opportunity for athletes to push themselves beyond what they ever dreamed they were capable of and I enjoy being a part of that process. I love teaching athletes to trade in their “I can’t” mentalities for “I can and I will” ones. This is extremely important to me because the way one thinks and acts in their sport often times translates to how they respond in life as well. I value building character and developing competitors and believe they go hand in hand. Being an athlete has allowed me to learn how to selflessly work for the benefit of the team as a whole. Athletics also taught me how to persevere, lead, and communicate well with those I am surrounded with.Younger generations can be hard to communicate with, but shouldn't be with intentional pursuit of relationship. Meeting them in an arena they are passionate about opens that door to relationship and then challenge as we walk alongside them in their growth as people and athletes.
