Worked closely with doctors to document clinic visits, educate patients on treatment and prevention options, and preformed related administrative tasks. This position allowed for involvement in supporting patients at the clinic, and instruction on medicine and patient care directly from physicians, nurses, and other healthcare workers every day.

Collaborated with a team of local teachers at a public primary school in Spain to develop and deliver creative and culturally relevant classroom activities to introduce the English language to students from preschool to sixth grade.

Assessed and attended to injuries of the Men’s cross country and football teams during their practices and competitions. Supervised the athletic training room before, during, and after practices, taped athletes and provided modalities for injuries.

Assisted in analysis of 75 years of bird species presence and abundance observationaldata using statistics, GIS, and available knowledge of the research station andsurrounding area. Created a lesson plan for K-12 education using cleartrends from the data and protocols for bird surveys.

Created and facilitated a “Junior Naturalist” program, taught about local flora andfauna. Lead multiple-night camping trips in the Boundary Waters Canoe AreaWilderness. Interacted with campers of all ages.

Worked with local rangers to create and implement a suite of climate changemonitoring projects, designed and completed a pika occupancy study for the director of the Khoridol Saridag Strictly Protected Area, planned and led workshops for Mongolian rangers.

Led naturalist programming for middle schoolers, assisted on working farm and trail maintenance, served as teaching assistant in a nature-based preschool

Served as a classroom aide in an intermediate ESL program consisting of mostly refugees.
