Grace Weil (pronounced “while”) is fiercely passionate about advocating for the rights of women, trans, non-binary, and disabled folks, people of color, and other marginalized communities. She is a creative problem solver with a strong background in project management, fundraising strategy, and creating compelling campaigns and content. With deep, professional roots in brand strategy, community outreach, and event production, Grace knows how to bring a mission to a broader audience and grow support. Born and raised in Texas, Grace moved to Memphis, Tennessee to attend Rhodes College. She holds an M.A. in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame.Grace served two terms as an AmeriCorps VISTA at a Memphis nonprofit dedicated to serving children affected by HIV/AIDS. Committed to working with public health organizations serving marginalized communities, Grace joined Planned Parenthood of Greater Memphis Region as the Director of Development in January 2015. She then took her talents to Seattle, WA where she served as the Events Manager at Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands and Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky through December 2020. She then began what is now Golden Thread - a disabled, women led fundraising consulting agency - working with Planned Parenthood affiliates, and other like-minded businesses and nonprofits across the country. When she’s not working, you can catch her hunting for the perfect snickerdoodle recipe, watching reruns of The West Wing, and spending time with her twin dogs: Bean and Sprout. Peak professional accomplishment to date: Gloria Steinem told Grace that she executed “one of the best, most organized events [she] has ever been to.”
