AWE is a EU-funded project supporting women to overcome the additional barriers they may face when starting a business. My role includes: - Solely responsible for creating weekly content for the Female Entrepreneurs Network Facebook and Twitter pages. - Providing administrative support including filing of important research documents and being responsible for updating numerous excel spreadsheets in order to keep track of activities within the project.- Undertaking marketing research and mapping locations and contacts for the project outreach.- creating a social media content plan for 2020.

During my final year of study I am worked as a marketing and promotions assistant within the Placement office at the University of Portsmouth, my role includes:- Solely managing and creating content for their Facebook- Writing and producing a quarterly newsletter for students on placement - Producing creatives for use on all social media platforms- regularly took on responsibilities to represent the university at numerous events including presenting to prospective students at open days on my placement and university experience

During my placement year, I worked at the GSMA as a Marketing Coordinator for the Future Networks programme. The Future Networks Programme explores transformative capabilities of 5G, Rich Communication Services (RCS Business Messaging) and Network Economics. My role involves supporting the Marketing Director and Marketing managers to deliver key strategic initiatives to drive awareness of events and programme activities including:• Creation of image suite using Photoshop for multiple marketing touch points; web, email, social media and print• Working with external partners to design, create and deliver marketing materials such as the MWC19, MWC Americas and MWC Shanghai Event Guide • Leading a social media campaign for GSMA Beta Labs on LinkedIn with a budget responsibility of £5k, with reaching the goal of increasing our contactable database by 25%• Responsible for admin tasks such as meeting room bookings, event location research including liaising and negotiating with global suppliers • Owning and implementing social marketing content (LinkedIn & Twitter), with increased responsibilities following the departure of the content marketing manager – leading to over 30% increase in our followers and a significant increase in impressions and engagement in the 4 months I was solely responsible.• Supported on local and global events, including MWC Barcelona, with over 110k attendees, through managing website updates, banner creation and printing, demo stand duty, filming interviews for the Beta Labs team and general evangelisation of the Future Networks projects to the attendees. Received a Recognition award for the work I undertook for MWC Barcelona.

I was the Course rep for 2nd year Marketing which meant I was the voice for students on my course and went to frequent meetings with the Business School faculty

- 3 days’ work Placement in the HR department at the hospital- Experienced shadowing professionals within the HR team including attending meetings with the marketing and operations director.- General Admin work including answering phones, sending mail and imputing data into computer systems.
