During my internship, I got to help strengthen the internship program while also diving into different parts of the HR department. I gained hands-on experience in areas like Employee Relations, Compliance, Recruitment, HRIS, and Labor Relations. I worked alongside the HR team on a variety of tasks, that allowed me to dive deep into the world that is Human Resources. Facilitating new hire orientations, screening qualified candidates for the hiring manager, posting of new requisitions to online platforms, and ensuring new hire paperwork is completed.

While working at Target I developed strong communication skills with customers, setting up the floor in a way to appeal to guests to drive sales, and answering questions.
