About Grace Alexis

I work on the intersections between gender, human rights, politics, and climate justice. I am a researcher and international development consultant with over 5 years of experience in Asia and the Pacific in areas related to gender, human rights, sustainable development, and social inclusion. My work, research, and activism at grassroots and international levels have always been concerned with challenging and transforming structures that hinder the enjoyment of rights. I work for the Asian Development Bank as a consultant, where I previously led regional research projects on youth engagement, and I am now working on gender equality and social inclusion action plans for urban sanitation projects in Indonesia. I am experienced in leading and managing regional projects and have also provided services to the Asia Foundation, Hivos Southeast Asia, and YSEALI Academy.I hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada and completed a one-year exchange program at the University of Tokyo.
