Growing up in a community of people who desire to connect, serve, and fellowship with one another has shaped my view of relationships. Cultivating warm and welcoming environments is one of my greatest passions. I believe the foundation of a solid community is found in communication with others.My time at Samford University has allowed opportunities for me to experience impactful University-to-student, organization-to-student, and student-to-student relationships. As a leader in organizations such as the Student Recruitment Team, Alpha Delta Pi, and Campus Outreach, I have been able to grow as a stronger leader because of the relationships through these organizations. Leadership roles have enabled me to learn the importance of servant-heartedness, patience, and organization.In my roles, I have recognized the importance of meeting others where they are and catering to their unique needs. In a professional setting, these skills are essential for fostering strong relationships with colleagues, partner organizations, and consumers. By adapting to new and diverse situations, I can adapt and contribute to a unified and productive environment. My desire to build stronger communities has become profound in the classroom as well as outside of it. As I become more acquainted with communication, marketing, and brand exposure I have realized the importance of authentic and meaningful relationships between companies and consumers.
