After moving to Spokane, I took on a new role as a Marketing Coordinator at zak! Designs. In this position, I am responsible for planning social media giveaways, assisting with any marketing needs, and supporting photoshoots. I originally began my career in fundraising during my second year of college when I joined Western Washington University's call center. Over time, I dedicated myself to learning about the WWU community and raising donations for a variety of programs and clubs. As I progressed in my role and eventually became a manager, I expanded my responsibilities to include a deeper understanding of the intricacies of fundraising.In my managerial role, I prioritized not only maintaining an efficient call center but also creating a welcoming and inspiring workplace for students. This experience has not only honed my fundraising skills but also developed my leadership abilities.Shortly after graduation, I was promoted to the Assistant Director of Annual Giving, Digital and Engagement Center Campaigns at WWU. In this role, I also wrote email solicitations, manage our crowdfunding website, VikingFunder, and oversaw operations in our Engagement Center. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in GiveDay, where I collaborated with campus partners to strategize and execute fundraising campaigns, ensuring their success and impact on the university community.
