I conducted outreach and direct application assistance for individuals applying for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), both in-person at local partner sites and over-the-phone from a Google AdWords program in partnership with Feeding Missouri.As the first person in newly-created position at The Food Bank, I established the position's expectations and procedures. I wrote outreach materials, created presentations about SNAP for local organizations and community partners and established a standard for contacting neighbors seeking assistance.
