Embeded Engineer at Aston Martin - I project managed the development of the Instrument Cluster for the RapidE Electric Vehicle.

Working across several departments in New Product Innovation, leading all aspects of the optical design for a number of new concept projects, including optical simulation, CAD (NX), electronics and prototyping. As part of my work I have been involved in developing methods of prototyping optics and building Dyson’s competencies in this area.Expert consultation on a wide range of projects on matters concerning, LEDs, optics, optical design and illumination from the early concept stage to final production.

Focusing on predominantly optical sensing and its integration in to new products.Lead design of several optical solutions for new products.

Leading the design and testing of illumination for instrument clusters and interior automotive electronics within a multi-disciplined team and managing and maintaining the Illumination Laboratory. I also worked with the Institute of Physics to promote the scheme to other universities.
