Recreation Supervisor is the highest student held position within Campus Recreation. I managed a 275 square foot facility and oversee 300 student employees. My role was to serve as a point of contact for any situation occurring in the facility or adjunct locations such as the intramural fields and the Snow beach facility. I handled event set up, tear down, and mediate any conflicts among patrons. On a daily basis, I aided the student assistant employees in the maintenance, services, and customer service responsibilities necessary to run the facility.

Fike Recreation Center

The Welcome Center Assistants greeted all the patrons coming the facility. We treated every patron with respect and provide excellent customer service by selling memberships and renting out equipment. We formed relationships with the patrons and ensured they have the best experience before, during, and after their workouts.

During the summer break for elementary students, counselors were responsible supervising the children during camp hours. We were responsible for the youth at our on-site campus, at the community pool, and on a variety of field trips. We also developed activities to keep the youth engaged throughout the day. During the 2015 summer, the camp site director asked me and one other counselor to be in charge of our camp for a week wile she was on vacation. I was given the extra responsibility of diffusing any behavioral situation and relaying the information to the parents.
