I oversee all of The Quadrangle's operations, including weekly publication. I head weekly meetings with staff including read-through and open pitch. I designate positions, establish deadlines, create production and publication schedules and copyedit the weekly issue before it's sent off to the production team. In addition to this, I am in charge of all of The Quadrangle’s finances and budgeting, as well as fundraising.Through this position, I expanded The Quadrangle's online viewership by 30k views per month. I also designed The Quadrangle's first-ever internship program, beginning in Spring 2024.

In addition to writing, I edited articles weekly for The Quadrangle’s news section, in accordance with AP stylebook rules. I assisted the News Editor in organizing and managing pitch lists each week and staying up to date with writers’ progress. I stepped in to fulfill the main News Editor duties when necessary.

I wrote and published articles according to The Quadrangle's code of standards and ethics while following AP Style rules and formatting. As a Quadrangle scholar, I was expected to publish a minimum of 6-10 polished articles for the semester across all sections.

I am in charge of creating and pitching stories each semester for the Lifestyle & Opinions section of Lotus Magazine. I work closely with writers to help them find angles and develop their ideas in meetings each week. I set landmark dates for story check-ins, at which point I will read all drafts and provide writers with individual feedback and edits before the final publication date. I work closely with the assistant L&O editor, the Fashion & Beauty editor and the Editor-in-Chief to ensure there is errorless communication between all writers and the editorial board.

In this role, I worked under the Lifestyle & Opinions Editor to assist in creating pitches and editing articles according to AP style for the section. I worked with the rest of masthead and those involved in the magazine to publish a printed issue semesterly. I also assisted in the planning and execution of our yearly spring fashion show and magazine release.

I manage all social media content posted on the Her Campus at Manhattan Instagram page. I design posts on Canva and update the page up to five days a week, promoting writers' articles, members of the month and other philanthropic events the club organizes. I am in close contact with the Campus Coordinator and am expected to post on quick turnaround times.

I write articles for Manhattan University's chapter of Her Campus. My articles include a variety of content from listicles to lifestyle pieces.

I assisted the Social Media Editor with designing posts for our Instagram page, promoting writers' articles and maintaining a strong online social media presence for Manhattan University's diamond-level chapter.

At this position, I manage over 200 drive-thru and front-counter orders per shift, handle cash transactions and ensure customer satisfaction while making sure the store remains cleaned, sanitized and well-stocked. I assist with the training of new service champions and am entrusted with resolving customer concerns when a manager is unavailable. I am cross-trained on the food line and am able to shift between positions depending on the needs of the store at any given moment.

In this position, I wrote 5-7 polished articles per week. I had the opportunity to attend red carpet events and interview high-profile talent, including the producers and host of Hot Ones, members of Shark Week and the stars of Naked and Afraid. I assisted the news team with whatever they needed, including transcribing interviews and organizing pitch lists. I assisted the Trending News Editor with the New York Post’s in-print Saturday TV Page every Friday. I shadowed interviews in Decider’s studio to see the process from beginning to end. Throughout my time at this internship, I amassed over 478k views on 87 articles, including my most-viewed article at 125k hits. My interviews with Shark Week talent were also featured in the New York Post’s Saturday news page on 7/6/2024.In this role, I used Wordpress, Airtable, Parse.ly, and Adobe Photoshop daily.
