As a People Advisor at Dojo, I support the HR function of a fast-growing FinTech. I work within the People Team to deliver effective and innovative HR solutions across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement. I also have experience of managing various HR projects, such as implementing a new HR system, developing a mental health and wellbeing strategy, and enhancing the learning and development opportunities for our staff.I have over six years of HR experience in media and publishing industries, where I worked for Immediate Media Co and UNLIMITED, two leading media companies in the UK. I gained valuable skills and knowledge in various aspects of HR, such as employee relations, coaching, payroll, and data accuracy. In 2017 I also obtained my CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Human Resources Practice, which demonstrates my commitment and professionalism in the HR field. Additionally, I have a degree in Education Studies from the University of the West of England, which gives me a solid foundation in learning theories, pedagogy, and curriculum design. My education background helps me to design and facilitate engaging and effective learning interventions for our staff.
