Experience for four years and passionate about occupational therapy and health and wellness. My journey as an OT started because I wanted to work with the underserved population and promote health and healing to those in need. My goal as an OT was to increase their autonomy by habilitating or rehabilitating their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health and well-being as well as to help them find a voice in a society that tends to degrade those that look, feel, think, or act dissimilarly to them.I believe that everyone has a story and a reason for doing things. I value listening to others, giving them the benefit of the doubt, and doing my best to support them in their endeavors. My goal is provide a light in a tunnel that appears dark and to help people gain skills in becoming more independent, self-confident, and autonomous. This is how we create a hopeful, loving world. I am a professional, a hard worker, am collaborative and thrive in multidisciplinary teams. Others have mentioned that I am a quick and avid learner, flexible, agile, and level-headed with rapidly moving unexpected events, and innovative.
