As an Assistant Buyer for QVC, I develop and launch new product lines, concepts, shows and ideas across the company’s multiple platforms, negotiating product price and terms and driving sales growth I identify emerging trends and translate them into actionable merchandising strategies and product concepts for streaming service. I forge strong relationships with key vendors, resulting in profitable sales, on-time delivery and improved product quality. I also expertly extract and analyze show sales data using Microstrategy and Tableau softwares, and manage daily office operations and administrative work, reporting to the buyer and communicating with cross-functional departments.

As a merchandising administrator, I supported the divisional merchandising strategy and maximized the buying team’s effectiveness. I tracked vendor shipments of samples and inventory to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction and maintain sample room. I also created QVC item numbers, purchase orders and entered purchase pricing and delivery information. I scheduled vendor appointments, prepared Tableau reports, maintained vendor files and routine correspondence and assisted new team members in acclimating to the company’s merchandising processes.

As an educator at lululemon, I was responsible for interacting with guests to ensure a great guest experience. I provided technical product education by articulating the value and benefit of the product. I also established supportive and productive relationships with all team members.
