When I first came to Auburn, I thought that I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. It wasn't until this year that I realized that I was not loving what I was doing and the major I was pursuing was not going to fulfill my goals that I have for myself. It took lots of self-assessment and reflection of what I want to do for the rest of my life, and what would make me happy. My ultimate dream has always been to own and my own business one day, and I realized that I wanted "someday" to be "today." My top five strength themes, according to the StrengthsQuest assessment, are Harmony, Consistency, Includer, Developer, and Empathy. I strive to see others work well together and to see them succeed in whatever their dreams and aspirations are. I also strive to hear every person's opinion through in order to make an informed decision about what will be best for everyone involved. As a future entrepreneur, I know that all of my strengths will be capitalized when it comes to making educated decisions regarding my future business. I am currently searching for a full-time job opportunity in the financial industry that will not only capitalize on my strengths, but will allow me to reach my full potential. I am interested in opportunities in the Birmingham, Alabama area mostly, but am open to looking into positions in surrounding southeastern cities, such as Nashville or Atlanta.
