Asylum Creative is a renowned, award winning design firm that offers services by taking on cross disciplinary projects in product development, environmental & interior design, packaging, apparel design, graphic design and branding. It comprises of a design studio, workshop, record label and a retail store. Their clients include recognised local and international brands like Hublot, SKII, Johnny Walker House, National Gallery Singapore, etc.• It was a good exposure to the creative industry as I worked on the branding, web design (digital), interior and packaging projects. I picked up effective time management as I juggled 5 or 6 projects at a time to meet the respective deadlines. • As some clients change their minds about the designs, I had to adapt quickly and exercise flexibility when working in order to produce satisfying works and meet desired outcomes.• As I worked with my creative team on storyboards, brainstorming and internal meetings, I learnt it is crucial to maintain good communication and teamwork amongst one another, including our clients.• I observed how the company culture was like, what makes them so set apart from other companies and how the creative team executed a task in a efficient way. I picked up skills like being professional and meticulous in my designs, as it is important to be responsible for these commercial projects.
