City Council Member
Current- Work with the five-member city council to guide the direction of the City and actively connect and work with residents to develop ideas and initiatives to improve quality of life, such as increased affordable housing.
- Lead the City on issues of racial and economic justice, including the creation of the Equity and Social Justice Committee.
- Appointed seven new members to City boards and commissions with a focus on equity and diversity.
- Championed the creation of a Spanish language Facebook page for the City and increased outreach directly to the Latino community.
- Worked with the Black community to request and approve neighborhood speed bumps, a new stop light, outdoor restrooms at the local park, and the renaming of a street in honor of Lawrence Crossley.
