Engineering in Biology and Medicine Chapter Chair. Currently developing technical workshop using OpenBCI (Brain Computer Interface Platform) and Arduino hardware to foster innovation and garner interest from the student population in biomedical technology. Raised $1700 in funds for workshop related equipment. Collaborated with and maintained relations with faculty and other student organizations. Established and implemented yearly agenda including scheduling, budgeting, promotion and execution of chapter events e.g. MRI tours (20-30 yearly student participants). Future student events under development include: Cancer Centre Tour and Electrical and Biomedical Engineering Alumni Networking Event.

Corporate Standards: Project management including budgeting, scheduling and monitoring of 182 standards or $9M of physical assets (related tasks include: kick off meetings, stakeholdering, quality control). Maintenance of automated workflows and forms on Team SharePoint website and major update of CS database using VBA.Grid Resiliency: Co-authored strategy document under the direction of Sr. Advisor to provide executive team with detailed plan to mitigate the effects of climate change on the electrical grid. Developed interactive hazard visualization tool by analyzing asset and outage data from 1983-2018. Post Event Investigations: Developed and maintained monthly director level overview report on corrective action plans for major incidences. Individual research project and presentation on the East-West Tie Transmission Line.

Research Assistant at the Biohybrids (BSL-2) Lab working with Masters student on developing bioactive, self-healing hydrogels with bacteriophage nanofilaments. Conducted literature review, detailed documentation of laboratory work and data analysis. Enhanced laboratory procedure and equipment protocols to ensure compliance with safety standards. Participated in lab meetings, weekly progress reports, training of new team members and general lab maintenance including inventory and waste management. Developed presentation on project progress for USRA Poster Session.Fun Fact: designed lab logo and created lab mascot (see photos below).
