More recently I have been promoted again to General Manager of the Giggling Squid restaurant in Henley-on-Thames. I am a diligent GM with an eye for detail ensuring the customer is always my key focus. I try to create a great team atmosphere for the front-of-house staff which I believe then positively impacts the service we give our diners - I believe a strong, happy team is more likely to create a great environment and experience for our customers. I see my key focus is to have an overview of the restaurant ensuring all aspects of the business are correctly managed and under control – including efficient staff scheduling, on-the-job supervision and training, stock control, Health and Safety regulations, budgeting and of course customer satisfaction - all whilst maintaining high service standards.
