As legit as it gets - we created an LLC! Found Haus Co. is the pandemic brainchild of my colleague-turned-best friend, Natalie, and I - an online store specializing in unique vintage and secondhand goods. As a team of two, we did it all - sourcing and comp set/market research to creating a brand and managing marketing, inventory, and customer service.

Created and maintained project schedules, clearly communicated deadlines for all key tasks, anticipated challenges, and alerted the team of potential deadline risks before they become issues; worked with Resource Managers to adjust resources and project schedules as needed based on evolving deliverables and deadlines; managed and updated project status and project status reports;conducted weekly status meetings with internal teams to communicate priorities, milestones, and deadlines as appropriate; gathered, organized, and shared all assets and requirements (include media) for each project

Served as a gatekeeper to a 20-person team and managing the marketing efforts of 40+ city departments; managed internal process improvements and onboarding of team to first-ever project management (Asana) and business communication software (Slack); facilitated weekly team meetings and project-specific kick-off meetings

Managed marketing and research projects from proposal development to completion, functioning both as the internal organizer and primary client contact; managed varying projects, often with overlapping timelines, with elements of research, PR, branding, marketing, web design and developmentDeveloped the social media plan and coordinated grassroots launch of Louisiana Public Health Institute’s comprehensive sex education campaign focusing on behavior change strategies, resulting in more than 1,000 advocacy sign ups within the first year of the campaign

Overseeing publicity tracking and media impressions across a variety of hospitality accounts, including The Kessler Collection, Extended Stay America and Hard Rock Hotels International; researching good-fit co-branding for Firehouse Subs for promotional proposals; drafting promotional proposals for brand collaboration efforts; pitching print and broadcast outlets via telephone and email; pitching and securing national promotions on behalf of client; crafting press releases, article blurbs and bios for local and national media outlets; organizing FAM trips, blogger dinners and groundbreakings for various hospitality accounts; developing and implementing creative ideas with Account Coordinators to increase client exposure; compiling and organizing props and materials for TV news segments for Party City; ordering and filing back issues of editorial print; converting data into a concise publicity report for clients to enjoy

Interpreting and materializing of Account Coordinator visions; clipping media highlights for multiple agency accounts both digitally and in print; contributing clipped content to clip books for end of year highlights and client-side publicity reports; developing an efficient skill set in the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat Pro.
