I am an Emmy award-winning and national Videography award-winning videographer and editor with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Southeastern Louisiana University with a concentration in Electronic Media (Film, Television, and Social Media). There I also acquired a minor in Creative Writing.While in school, I worked for three years at the Emmy-winning Southeastern Channel broadcasted for 250,000 viewers of Charter Cable in southeast Louisiana and viewers in 46 states and 47 countries online. There I was a producer, director, videographer, and editor. I produced original content for shows like College Night, Northshore News, and the Big Game. I also worked for two years in the Southeastern Theatre Department, where in 2016, I received an award for Meritorious Achievement from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for my digital design work on Lisa Loomer’s “Distracted”.After college, I worked as a freelancer specializing in weddings, a Social Media Coordinator at the Mandeville Barnes and Noble, and a Marketing Assistant for the For Any Auto Group in Elk Grove, California, where I specialized in online video marketing for four major car dealerships in the surrounding Sacramento areas. I wrote and produced social and television commercials to assist both the sales and service departments of each dealership. I also ran each dealership’s social media pages and engaged with customers daily.After moving back to Louisiana, I worked as a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer for Sigl Creative, a Post Production Supervisor at Fireside Films, and a Co- Manager at the Journeys in the Mall of Louisiana.Through all this work experience I have developed all of the following skills: - Videography, Directing- Marketing, Content Creation- SnapChat, Facebook, Instagram, etc. - Hiring and Training Employees- Writing, Editing- Graphic Design- Client Outreach- Tasking a staff of 25As of November 2020, I am residing in Baton Rouge, LA and would like to work in the Baton Rouge or New Orleans area to hone and advance my skills as a creator and developer.
