Advocate for 200+ children in Korea's social welfare system by enriching their lives through scholarships and outreach programs. Korean Kids and Orphanage Outreach Mission (KKOOM) is a U.S. based nonprofit and KKOOM (꿈) means "Dream" in Korean. Within three years of serving as Chief Administrator, I helped build a fund development plan to see a 220% increase in fundraising efforts to impact hundreds of children in Korea's social welfare system. As the Executive Director, I oversee all social media marketing, manage donor relations, email communications, and supervise our KKOOM interns. As Chief Administrator, I had the honor of helping the organization implement a fund development plan and creating more awareness about the organization through social media communication. By supporting the Board President and Co-founder, I complete administrative tasks, fundraise to increase donor engagement, and plan current and future programming/projects.

I help build a culture of cultivating relationships with key stakeholders. I communicate with donors regarding Georgia GOAL deadlines and assist the Advancement Administrative Assistant to acknowledge donations. Through the Partner in Ed program, I help oversee the annual agreements/renewals of the Partner in Ed program helping to solicit, coordinate, and build relationships with the community. I implemented the inaugural Senior Legacy Gift Campaign for the Class of 2022. I resigned from this position to focus on my personal well-being.

Build efforts to promote cultural diversity at a K3-12 Christian school with 950+ students and 700+ families. As image-bearers, we celebrate our differences and the unique ways we are all made.I created the Diversity Council for students as the first Director of Diversity at the ELCA. Diversity Council is an extracurricular student club for high school students to learn, share, and better understand different perspectives. I also am the Coordinator of our Diversity Council for parents, faculty, and staff.Through staff training, I help facilitate conversations and discussions about cultural sensitivity, conflict resolution, social and emotional learning, and cultural diversity. At our school, we bring awareness and celebrate the achievements of people of color for Black History, Hispanic, Asian American & Pacific Islander, and Native American Heritage Months.

Taught courses in English to two 8th grade classes. Through effective classroom management, I established and communicated clear objectives for all learning activities. I collaboratively worked in a team setting with the lead 8th grade English Teacher to ensure consistency in the curriculum. While serving as the 8th Grade English Teacher, I was asked to serve as the Coordinator of the Diversity Council, helping to start the Parent/Staff Diversity Council and I started to garner interest from students in spring 2018 to see if this council would benefit the student body.

Developed social, cognitive, and academic skills for 3-4 year olds in a Christian environment. I taught 8 students in the classroom, with a paraprofessional, and focus on teaching students their alphabet sounds and letters, numbers 1-15, colors, shapes, and strengthening their fine motor skills. As an inaugural member of the Council of Diversity at ELCA, I met with other staff and parents about diversity issues while creating programming to help promote diversity in 5 aspects: gender, race, age/ability, culture, and economic ability. I was also the Assistant Tennis Coach for the Varsity Boys and Girls Teams for spring 2017 season.

Empowered 600 students from 3rd to 6th grade at Mireu Elementary School by teaching conversational English and life skills. I served as a cultural ambassador inside and outside of the classroom, bridging the cultural competency between the US and South Korea. As a member of the Fulbright Korea Alumni Relations committee, I connected Fulbright Korea Alumni to current English Teaching Assistants by facilitating webinars about higher education.
