After spending a few months as intern, I was brought in full time in the beginning of August as a Junior Designer.

As an instructor at Just For Kix, I lead and teach at large summer camps that host over 300 dancers in multiple states. I meet with teams individually and create practice plans unique to each team based on what their coach requests. I also choreograph routines for high school dancers to learn at camps, intensives, and to compete at their state level.

I was very lucky to be brought back as a full-time intern at Solid Ground Construction in Lakeville, MN. I assisted in the design process by assembling design concept boards, creating design options documents for clients, creating cabinet plans and layouts, and aiding in material, fixture and finish selections and specifications. I attended on-site.

As their intern I was responsible for assisting their designer with creating client mood boards to narrow their aesthetic and vision. I assembled documents and cut sheets for product and fixture options. I drew up construction elevation and section detail documents as well as renderings of projects using Revit and Enscape.

Working at the Front-end of the store, I represent the positive atmosphere of Kowalski’s for customers when they enter and exit the store. I ring up and bag their groceries groceries and converse to make them feel welcome. I also assist customers by answering their questions about sales and weekly specials, and helping them locate products within the store.
