Responsibilities included: employee relations; contracts; non-compete/non-disclosure agreements; compliance; risk mitigation, human resources, policy; real estate, tenant/landlord lease agreements; purchase agreements; RFPs; and negotiations. • Served as trusted advisor assisting executives and internal stakeholders on contractual matters, requirements, risk management, mitigation strategies, compliance, and policy. • Partnered with companies to provide counsel to managers and leaders regarding employee relations issues, interpretation of employment laws, FMLA, discrimination, company policies and procedures, plus developed workable solutions to resolve issues. • Drafted, reviewed, and negotiated a variety of complex commercial and business contracts as well as governmental contracts. • Created legal documents and negotiated terms involving business transactions, strategic alliance agreements, non-circumvention/non-disclosure agreements, cooperation agreements, separation agreements, landlord/tenant agreements, plus partnership and joint venture agreements.• Led numerous projects from conception through completion handling scope, milestones, communications, and deliverables.
