I am currently studying International Relations and Human Rights at Anglo-American University in Prague. My areas of interest include freedom of expression advocacy, global women's issues, and student organizing. I currently serve on the board of a Prague-based non-profit, Pangea Public and operate as the head of public relations and social media. My previous experience includes acting as a student organizer in the North Kansas City School District, specifically regarding book banning prevention, educational policy change, and advocacy for the rights of female students. Stemming from this activist work, I had the opportunity to lead a student summit with PEN America on book banning prevention. I became involved in the organization more broadly as a student of their Freedom of Speech and Advocacy Institute. Recently, I completed an Internship with Missouri State Representative Maggie Nurrenbern and plan to continue my involvement in advocacy work throughout my career.
