I hope to help individuals regain engagement and satisfaction in meaningful, important, and valuable occupations. I often begin by assessing the individual's physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, as well as environmental factors that may affect their occupational engagement. I then develop personalised therapy plans focused on improving motor skills, coordination, balance, strength, and cognitive function. This may involve exercises, adaptive equipment, and techniques to maximise strengths. In addition to working directly with individuals, I collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care. I also provide education and support to individuals and their families to help them adjust to life changes and maximise quality of life. Overall, my goal is to promote recovery, enhance environment, and facilitate participation in meaningful occupations despite neurological challenges. Show less
